Akaal Sidhu, the Prospective Council Candidate for Harborne ward, has been campaigning tireless as the local election campaign enters the final week. He spent part of the morning today meeting constituents on the High Street in Harborne, as well as talking at a coffee morning.
There is a growing sense that Akaal is the only candidate prepared to engage with the civic issues that affect the Harborne community. One community leader commented that compared with his opponents, Akaal was light years ahead in his understanding of community inclusion.
Akaal has based a core part of his election pledges on addressing the plight of anti-social behaviour and improving the quality of life of Harborne residents. He knows the impact that all forms of criminality has on a community and is commited to tackle this if elected.
